Native to southeast Asia, Citrus hystrix (also known as kaffir or makrut lime) is a thorny dwarf shrub with glossy, oily, insanely-fragrant leaves.

Although they’re unmistakably lime like when distilled, they’re also intensely floral – which adds a whole new dimension to the spirit.

All our leaves are sourced directly from small independent growers in Portugal and the UK, and we distil them as soon as they arrive for absolute, maximum freshness.

Items are dispatched FOR FREE via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service to the majority of UK mainland destinations.

Any order placed before 1pm Monday to Friday should arrive within 2-3 business days. Since orders can only be processed and shipped during normal business hours, all orders received on Friday after 1pm, or anytime Saturday and Sunday, will ship the following Monday.

For security reasons, we use the tracked service so we can follow the parcels journey straight to your door.

Although we strive to get your order to you as soon as possible – and expect all orders to arrive within a couple of days – we cannot guarantee this in every instance due to issues beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions and COVID-related disruption. From time to time, during particularly busy periods, orders may take a little longer to reach you so please be patient and allow a little extra time for delivery. In the event your parcel takes longer than 3-4 days to arrive, please inform us at hello@huilie.co.uk so we can use the tracking service to locate your parcel for you.

Although we aim to get your parcel to you in perfect condition, occasionally damage occurs in transit. If your parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery, we ask that you refuse receipt of the parcel and ask the agent to return the goods to sender. If the damage only becomes apparent after you open the parcel, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence so we can raise it with our courier Royal Mail.
